Another commonly used method outside of Vietnam to have a document validated is using an Authentication Service, which is done in any country who has signed the Consular Certificate Convention. As Vietnam has not signed the Apostille Convention and does not use Apostille Certificates, it uses the internationally recognized equivalent that starts with the first step of authentication of documents.
