Indian Visa for Foreigners in Vietnam

Many foreigners in Vietnam want to have a trip to India for both Tourism and Business. However, Indian Visa is required for all nationalities except for some countries exempted from Indian visa.

Vietnam-legal.com would like to give the instruction for expats in Vietnam to apply for Indian visa.

Documents required from Foreigners in Vietnam:

1. Visa application form

2. 2 Recent Photographs (taken within 6 months, colored, 4 cm x 4 cm )

3. Passport with at least SIX months validity and at least TWO blank pages.

4. Photocopy of passport

5. Photocopy of Residence Card/Valid Vietnam Visa

6. In case of Indian Business Visa, you must submit additional documents:

+ Invitation letter from the company/agency in India indicating name, passport no., purpose of visit to India, duration of visit to India etc

+ Original decision on sending staff to travel to India

+ Proof of employment

(*) In case of employee:

– A notarized copy of valid labor contract

– Original pay slips of last 6 months

(*) In case of employer:

– A notarized copy in Vietnamese of Business Registration/ Investment License

– A notarized copy of TAX/ Payment to State Budget ( latest 3 months/ latest quarter)

7. Return ticket and hotel reservation

Note: The processing time for visas for applicants who are not citizens of Vietnam is minimum 4-5 working days.

The Business Visa is granted to a foreign national who wants to visit India to establish an industrial/ business venture or to explore possibilities to set up industrial/business venture, wants to purchase/sell industrial products in India, foreign nationals coming to India for technical meetings/ discussions, attending Board meetings or general business services meetings, participation in exhibitions, trade fairs, etc.
