How to Apply for German Business Visa?

For those who do not belong to “Visa Exemption to Germany” and want to travel for Business, German Business Visa is required firstly.

Documents to apply for Germany Business Visa:

1. Visa Application form

2. Passport must be valid at least 3 months and copy of passport

3. 2 passport-size photos

4. Personal documents:

+ Copy of identity card

+ Household registration record

+ Notarized copy of certification of marriage/ divorce

5. Proof of financial means:

+ Saving book or bank balance verification including at least 15.000 US$

+ Notarized copy of house/land registration documents

6. Documents perform the purpose of the trip

+ Official letter (original) with invitation, with date, name/s of guest/s and their enterprise, date of
travel/stay, purpose of stay, description of business relation

+ Copy of excerpt from the commercial register of the enterprise in Germany or, when applicable

+ Business registration of the enterprise in Germany

+ A recent letter from your employer, stating how long you are employed with the company, the kind of
business and duration of the business trip

+ In case you travel for the first time: documentation about the existing business relation (such as contracts, bills, shipping documents, customs declaration etc.)

+ Verification for company’s business:

– A notarized copy in Vietnamese of Business Registration/ Investment License

– A notarized copy of TAX/ Payment to State Budget (latest 1 year)

+ In case of joining a FAIR:

– Invitation of organizer, admission ticket or exhibitor ID

– Information about the fair

– Information (catalogue) with products of your enterprise, contract for exhibition booth

+ For purpose of research or training:

– The confirmation letter from the organizer/ host

– Student Identification Card

+ For purpose related to political, scientific, cultural, sport conferences:

+ Invitation letter, entry ticket, confirmation letter performing information about the organizer, time, or any documents related to the purpose of the trip

7. Proof of employment:

+ In case of employee:

– A notarized copy of valid labor contract

– Original pay slips of last 6 months

+ In case of employer:

– A notarized copy in Vietnamese of Business Registration/ Investment License

– A notarized copy of TAX/ Payment to State Budget (latest 1 year)

8. Confirmation of hotel, return air-ticket

9. A copy of Travel Insurance, valid for all countries in the Schengen States, for the whole period of stay with minimum liability of Euro 30.000.
