Read More]]> For those who intend to travel for business in Taiwan for a short time, shall submit the following:

Documents:

  • Visa Application form
  • Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months
  • Two portraits with the size of 4×6 (Taken on white background within 6 months)
  • Vietnamese Businessmen who hold passports added visas of the United States, Canada, Japan, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Schengen countries need to submit some documents related to your job instead of invitation letter from Taiwan: Business license (for employer), employment contract and Original sending business decision issued by your company (for employee).
  • If you are unable to meet all above conditions, please prepare:
    • Invitation letter from Taiwanese company (including full information about the partner in Taiwan: address, telephone, fax, etc. The inviter must sign and stamp on this letter)
    • Copy of inviter’s passport including the signature of inviter
    • Copy of business license of the partner in Taiwan
  • Formal request letters from concerned authorities for official trip, employment contract, travel insurance (for employee), and business license (for employer)
  • If someone submits these papers on your behalf, please bring letter of attorney stamped and signed by manager of your company, copy and original identity card.
  • Round-trip airline ticket flight details certificate issued by travel agency

Read More]]> For Vietnamese, India, Filipino, Thailand, Indonesian passport holders with valid US, CANADA, UK, JAPAN, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, and/or SCHENGEN visas, you can bypass the visa application process and get a travel authorization certificate online for free. Just fill up the form on their WEBSITE, print out the certificate, and you’re good to go. This will be good for multiple entries within thirty (30) days of its issue date, so be sure to fill this out no earlier than a month before your trip.

If you don’t have a valid visa to the countries mentioned above, then you’ll need to apply for a Taiwan tourist visa.

  • Visa Application form
  • Original passport must be valid for at least 6 months
  • Two portraits with the size of 4×6 (Taken on white background within 6 months)
  • Employment contract
  • Leave of absence letter to travel
  • Verification of financial status:
    • Original Confirmation of your bank balance including at least 100.000.000 VND
    • Certificate ownership housing and land using or other property
  • Copy of return ticket and hotel reservation
