Want to go to the Central African Republic on business?  You will need to get a business visa.  The process is pretty much the same as that of the Tourist Visa for the Central African Republic except for the fact that you will need to provide a business letter from your company (on the company’s letterhead).

Documents required to apply for:

4. Personal documents:

5. The Business letter from your employer should include the following information:

+ Written on company letterhead

+ Addressed to the Embassy of (country you intend to visit)

+ Name the applicant (traveler) sponsored or employed by the company

+ Explain the nature of business to be conducted

+ State the dates of your visit

+ State the name and address of the company to be visited

+ Specify the type and validity of the requested visa

+ Company guarantee of financial responsibility for all travel expenses

+ A closing original signature (someone other than the applicant)

The Central African Republic (CAR) is a landlocked country in Central Africa. It is bordered by Chad to the north, Sudan to the northeast, South Sudan to the east, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo to the south and Cameroon to the west. The CAR covers a land area of about 620,000 square kilometres (240,000 sq mi) and had an estimated population of around 4.7 million as of 2014.

GEOGRAPHY:
Location: landlocked country in Central Africa, almost the precise center of Africa.
Area: 623,000 km² (242,000 sq. mi.)
Terrain: Rolling plain 600 meters-700 meters (1,980 ft.-2,310 ft.) above sea level; scattered hills in northeast and southwest, mainly Savannah in the north and equatorial forest in the south. The Oubangui river, which forms the southern border and flows through the capital Bangui and then south to the Congo basin, is an important transport route.

CLIMATE

The climate of the Central African Republic is generally tropical, with a wet season that lasts from June to September in the northern regions of the country, and from May to October in the south. During the wet season, rainstorms are an almost daily occurrence, and early morning fog is commonplace. Maximum annual precipitation is approximately 1,800 millimetres (71 in) in the upper Ubangi region.

The northern areas are hot and humid from February to May, but can be subject to the hot, dry, and dusty trade wind known as the Harmattan. The southern regions have a more equatorial climate, but they are subject to desertification, while the extreme northeast regions of the country are already desert.

LANGUAGE

The Central African Republic’s two official languages are French and Sangho, a creole developed as an inter-ethnic lingua franca based on the local Ngbandi language. CAR is one of the few African countries to have an African language as their official language.
